As of July 1, AltaNova Sales will be dividing into two separate entities: HD Plants and AltaNova. After a transition period both companies are ready for their independent futures.

A new chapter
Following the announcement of their split in September 2023, as of July 1, AltaNova Sales will be divided into two distinct companies.The partnership that has been in place since 2017 has brought both companies considerable recognition and growth. After mutual agreement, it has been decided that both companies will continue independently, as this better aligns with their ambitions.

HD Plants
Anton and Geert-Jan Hoogendoorn will continue to focus on a range of seasonal products at their nursery on Weteringsweg in Luttelgeest (the Netherlands). Their new company's name is HD Plants, and comes along with a new corporate identity and packaging.

AltaNova
Gebr. Hoogendoorn, led by Harm and Reinier Hoogendoorn, will continue to operate under the name and appearance of AltaNova. At their nurseries in Moerkapelle, Luttelgeest (Bloemenweg), Zevenhuizen, and Bleiswijk (all in the Netherlands), they cultivate a range of both perennial garden plants and seasonal products. They also have a nursery in Portugal, which plays a role in the further expansion of the company.

Changes
Now that this change is imminent, it is crucial for the customers of AltaNova Sales to apply the new auction numbers of both companies from July 1. The current Floriday connections need to be changed to efficiently continue the offer and order process of the products from both companies.

From July 1 onwards, HD Plants will be active under the new number 26017, and AltaNova under the new number 24044.Customers and relations will also receive an email about this.
